Hahnemühle German Etching

Hahnemühle has been making fine-art papers for visual artists in Germany since 1584.

Their German Etching paper is a traditional mould-made copperplate printing paper, with fine, extraordinary velvety tactile feel and fine, clearly defined felt structure. All of which leads into impressive three-dimensional effect and depth that complements the prints it's chosen for.

Additionally, it reproduces colours with wide tonality and has completely matte surface.

As with all the paper choices in my prints, this acid- and lignin-free paper meets the most exacting requirements for age resistance.
